In Tribute and Memoriam
to our fellow Americans who gave their lives,
just because they were Americans.

"Freedom's Gate"
America has been wounded but
America is not dead.
She is the keeper of Freedom's flame
and by Her Freedom is led.
She will not be so easily stilled by those
whose hearts are filled with hate.
She will rise stronger from the ashes and
once again guard Freedom's Gate.
...By God's Grace.
------Suzanne Guinn, c2001
"There is no situation so chaotic
that God cannot, from that situation,
create something that is surpassingly good.
He did it at creation;
He did it at the cross;
He is doing it today."
-------Bishop Moule
Bishop in England, 1800's
God is too wise to be mistaken.
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don't understand.
When you don't see His plan.
When you can't trace His hand.
Trust His heart.

Psalm 94
1: O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2: Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3: LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4: How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5: They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
6: They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7: Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8: Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9: He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10: He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11: The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12: Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
13: That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14: For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15: But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16: Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17: Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18: When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19: In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
20: Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
21: They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22: But the LORD is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23: And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness;
yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

We are a family. Like family, we may squabble among
ourselves,
but when we are attacked by outsiders,
it only strengthens our
resolve to unite and defend.
Patriotism abounds!
Mt:10:28: And fear not them which kill the body,
but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy
both soul and body in hell.

God is not caught by surprise by
the events of
September 11, 2001. He is still on the throne,
but his heart
grieves over the acts of mankind.
While you
listen to this
music, pray
for those who have lost
loved ones in this
tragedy. Pray for our President, leaders, and
for the rescuers. Pray
for the Christians
that they will be
able to share their
hope and
faith with
others at this time.
Pray that the Lord
will turn this nation
back to Himself.
Add to this your
prayers for our
men and
women
in the military.

New Pictures!
I have looked and looked for a picture of this event.
Just days after the attack iron beams in the shape of
4 crosses were found in the rubble by a construction site worker,
Frank Silecchia.
Here you can see a priest blessing one of the rescued pieces.
Here
also is a picture of Father Mychal Judge being carried out after losing his life
while preparing to give the last rights to another. He had removed his hat to
bow his head and pray when hit by falling debris.
